Camp Cost: $125 (Covers all materials for camp and includes a free T-shirt for each student!)
In this camp, students will learn the foundational skills of crochet, including how to make a slip knot, chain stitch, slip stitch, and single crochet. Campers will also be introduced to reading beginner-friendly crochet patterns, helping them build the confidence to continue creating on their own. Throughout the week, students will complete fun, hands-on projects that explore both flat and 3D crochet techniques, with several handmade creations to take home and enjoy.

Emily learned to crochet as a child and later earned her degree in Education from Belhaven University. She is the owner of Emily Makes Studios, a local crochet business specializing in handmade plushies and fiber art. Emily loves teaching people of all ages how to crochet and enjoys helping beginners discover just how creative and fun the craft can be. Her favorite things to make are stuffed animals, which have become her specialty.
