Exhibitions are selected for their artistic merit, as well as relevance to the mission of the Masur Museum of Art. Nearly all exhibitions are initiated by curatorial staff, but occasionally outside exhibition proposals are accepted and implemented.
To submit an exhibition proposal, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- “Exhibition Proposal” in the subject line
- A brief prospectus outlining the themes, goals, media, and scope of the exhibition
- CV and artist statement for any participating artists
- Work samples – selection of digital images relevant to this particular exhibition proposal (links to images hosted on Google Drive and/or DropBox are acceptable)
Please note that most exhibitions are scheduled at least two years in advance, and require several levels of approval from within the museum and Board. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis. Floor plans available on request.
