Swan Lake Ballet at the WL Jack Howard Theater – Monroe Civic Center 401 Lea Joyner Memorial Expy, Monroe, LA 71201
7:30 PM – Doors open at 6:00 PM

Swan Lake, the ballet of all ballets, will be performed one night only by the Russian Ballet Theatre company. See the iconic Dance of the Little Swans, count the 32 fouettés performed by the Odile and immerse yourself in magical Tchaikovsky’s music. The Production will feature richly detailed, hand-painted sets as wells as over 150 radiant costumes that bring fresh representation to this timeless classic. In conjunction with this ballet performance, the Masur Museum of art is partnering with the Civic Center to present visual artists creating live works of art inspired by Swan Lake.

The following artists will be set up in the lobby of the Civic Center theater and their work will be for sale via silent auction. Please note, since the work being produced will be paintings, auction winners will be able to pick up the art on a future date to allow them to dry. Alternatively, art can be delivered to auction winners once dry.

Participating visual artists are:

Douglas Breckenridge
Leigh Buffington
Lissy Sanders Compton
Leah Reitzell
