Exhibitions and additions to the Masur Museum’s permanent collection are selected for their relevance to the museum’s mission and collecting policy. Brief inquiries regarding proposed exhibitions may be addressed to the Curator of Collections and Exhibitions.
Please note that most exhibitions are scheduled at least two years in advance, and require several levels of approval from within the museum and Board.
Nearly all acquisitions and exhibitions are initiated by the professional staff in partnership with our board, not through unsolicited proposals. However, inquiries about donating important works of art to the museum may be considered - please give us a call at 318-329-2237 for more information.
The Masur Museum is not responsible for the return of any unsolicited materials, including photographs or CDs. Please do not bring or mail original art to the museum. Such works will not be accepted by the museum staff, as the museum cannot guarantee their safety.
