Students will discover historical photographic processes and printing methods with a creative and modern twist. Light painting, photo scavenger hunts, and producing sun prints from handmade paper negatives are a few of the many photographic practices students will explore
About the Instructor:
Rhyan Emery Taylor has been committed to spreading her excitement for the arts since early childhood, giving away her drawings made of crayons and construction paper in her front yard lemonade stand. She has been sharing her passion for the arts for over a decade, teaching art in various schools and workshops, and has spent many of her summers teaching mixed media art and photography at summer camps in the area. Taylor received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Louisiana Tech University. She currently is the leading photographer and artist at Albritton Photography in West Monroe.

If you are registering more than one child, change the "quantity" on

child. **If registering more than one child, the website will give you an error message saying you cannot use the same email address. However, we do receive those forms, so disregard that error message!**

and Release of Liability: I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless
the Masur Museum of Art, its employees, instructors, and volunteers
from and against any and all liabilities for any injury which may be
suffered by me or my child arising out of or connected with
participation in the class/camp attended. In the case of an emergency, I
hereby grant permission for my child to be treated by a qualified
physician. I give permission for my child's photo and artwork to be used
in all forms of the Masur Museum of Art's publicity brochures, and
